ADR training
Safe transport of dangerous goods is complex process relating not only to drivers, but also to company management, sale representatives (sale departments), packing personnel, dispatchers, transport managers, loading personnel, forwarding agency personnel and others.
According to European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), persons employed by the participants referred to in chapter 1.4 of ADR (consignor, carrier, consignee, loader, packer, filler, unloader and tank-container operators, portable tank operator), shall be trained in the requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods appropriate to their responsibilities and duties.
Types of training:
- training of drivers– section 8.2.1 ADR
- training of persons other than the drivers according to 8.2.1 ADR– section 8.2.3 ADR and chapter 1.3 ADR
- DGSA training – section 1.8.3 ADR.
Training of drivers and DGSAs may only be provided by training providers approved by Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic (MDVRR SR).
Training of persons other than the drivers according to 8.2.1 may be provided also by DGSA.
